Green Lipped FFA contains omega-3 fatty acids from the green lipped-mussel of New Zealand, which has unique benefits for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis not seen with standard omega-3 supplements. This is due to the fact that it is high in rare omega-3s not found in most fish oil extracts: eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA) and its precursor stearidonic acid (SDA). Not all green-lipped mussel products are fatty acid extracts – many simply contain the crude dried mussel powder.
